Last year, Gowanus Canal Conservancy recorded 241 observations over 138 species over the few hours of the Pilot Blitz, both by foot and canoe. This year, with your help, we hope to get even more!

Gooooo NYC! Are you going to have friendly competition among the boroughs?

Posted by carrieseltzer about 6 years ago

Nothing formal, but I'm all about a little friendly competition. Manhattan came out way ahead in all categories last year. This year there are two mini BioBlitzes happening in Brooklyn and Queens, so there's definitely a chance for them to come out ahead!
