Males started calling this week in Seascape Rd and Seabreeze Cresc in Noordhoek reported by neighbourhood WhatsApp group that includes ToadNuts members. I've personally heard one male calling from artificial pond at 12 Seascape Rd over last four nights.
No further signs or sounds of gutterals fortunately, although it is too early for them to be calling yet.
Observatory: toads started moving on the 19th July. Calling heard in all the observatory ponds adjacent to the SAAO from Sunday 22nd until the 26th July.
Oude Molen: The pond where we found tadpoles last year is dry and a new fence has been erected that makes access more difficult. There are ponds nearer the river which may have been used.

KirMiTS (Kirstenhof to Muizenberg Toad Savers) - the toads in Kirstenhof and Lakeside (Kerner Road pond) are on the move.
