Warblers in Nebraska

The next three weeks will be a spectacular time to observe warblers in Nebraska. Birds such as Yellow-throated and Yellow warblers have already arrived, and Northern Waterthrushes should be here within the next week. Throughout this great birding stretch in the state, please take advantage of it and observe some warblers!

Great places to see these tiny birds include Fontenelle Forest and Neale Woods in the Eastern part of the state. Heron haven and Walnut Grove Park in Omaha are also good in early May. Remember to use the "Pishing" technique to draw out elusive warblers.

Remember to add your observations to 150 birds!
