The bells have tolled

The bells have tolled for Southern Africa. In a few hours from now those around the world behind out timeline will also finish.
All going well the final results will be available for all tomorrow.

Currently the Garden Route is placed in 11th position for observations standing at 19977. Next on the list is Greater Philadelphia Area. Hope we hold them, and New York City off.

For species, the Garden Route is currently in a comfortable 5th position at 2748 species, with Dallas/Fort Worth 2682 species. Hold thumbs they have no ace up their sleeve.

Well done everyone. To those who took the time to take observations and upload them, and never forget those who spent hours - no, days doing identifications.

Everyone give yourself a high 5.

You cannot count "the world - rural" as a fair city. You are #10 in observers and #4 in species.

Hello Tony, and thank you for your assistance and kind words.
I agree with the "the world - rural" comment and its position in the results. I also noted that you had to join that project to make your obs count in it. This was skewed in I noted people affiliated to a project, also join the "the world - rural" project. This means their obs counted in "their" city project, as well as the "others".

Thanks again for everything, and everyone around Southern Africa making our mark on the environmental world.
