AGULHAS NATIONAL PARK: RIETFONTEIN
Focus: Elim Ferricrete, Limestone and Agulhas Sand Fynbos
9h00: Meet at the green water tanks, see directions
Directions: From Bredasdorp onto R319 for 2km. Turn right onto R43 Bredasdorp/Elim rd. Continue 20km. At T junction turn right. Continue 2km. Turn left onto R317 (Die Dam/Wolvengat rd) Continue 8km, turn left at Gansbaai/Die Dam sign. Continue 500m. Turn left at Uintjieskuil and Rietfontein signs. Continue 5km to the green water tanks on your right.

AGULHAS NATIONAL PARK: SOETANYSBERG (10km moderate walk)
Focus: Limestone Fynbos, Overberg Sandstone, Elim Ferricrete Fynbos
9h00: Meet at the end of Bergplaas road.
Directions: From Bredasdorp follow R319 for 2km. Turn right onto R43 (Bredasdorp/Elim rd. Continue 20km. Turn left at T junction and continue for 5.8km Turn right onto Bergplaas road and continue towards Soetanysberg at the end of Bergplaas road (near Agulhas NP Bergplaas guest house)

Focus: Central Rûens Shale Renosterveld, Rûens Silcrete Renosterveld
10h00: Meet outside Napier Overberg Agri (next to Caltex petrol station, on Caledon side of Napier).
Share lifts from here to take fewer vehicles to the two different sites (Napier commonages falling under CAM, Just a few km out of Napier)
