Record breaking year!
Well done everyone, we have just cracked 7000 observations for this year's GSB! We have more sightings, more species and more participants than any other year.
We have until the end of next week (December 11) to finish uploading and ID'ing our region's sightings. Thanks so much to everyone who has contributed sightings or identifications so far.
Please tag me in, or fave, any excellent sightings that you come across so i can include in the final report.

Blueberry Ash is the most observed species, that kind of makes sense because when I first saw one flowering I was amazed and really wanted to know what it was but then it’s not something you walk past everyday. It’s really interesting to look at the most observed species list , it reveals some connection between us humans and nature but I haven’t worked it out yet.
Yes, it is interesting. Depends on many things I think, but you're right it's a common but distinctive species that's widespread and easily accessible.
Great fun! Some really cool stuff up around Coffs! I've finished uploading now just shy of 500 obs - but more species will emerge as I figure out what most of them are (by looking at Nicks obs :P )

Still got one day's worth to upload, then can start IDing a few more, hopefully this weekend.
