San Diego Natural History Museum plans biodiversity blitz.
The San Diego Natural History Museum is taking stock of the state of biodiversity in San Diego County through events that highlight and tabulate the region’s natural wonders.
The contest kicks off on Friday, April 27, and wraps up on Monday, April 30. It will involve an intensive 24-hour “bioblitz” of Balboa Park on April 27 and April 28, where professional and citizen scientists alike will stalk the park’s native species using the app “iNaturalist” to record and track their findings.
