Be sure to upload your observations when you get home if there is no good cell connection or your iPad needs to be connected to internet for download. You need internet to upload observations to the web so they can be shared and counted. Uploading from the app is straightforward. Make sure to add it to the Project titled Reston Biodiversity and on June 2, 2018 to the BioBlitz. If you take photos from a camera, these need to be first uploaded to a computer and then added to iNaturalist as observations.
