Hey all - I borrowed this idea from Russell @pfau_tarleton - he uses a similar tag to keep track of all the tiny beetles he finds at lights and such. I discussed this with him awhile back, and he didn't seem to object to me stealing his idea for a project - so here it is! I thought it would be cool to share and see all the tiny things people have observed.
Please feel free to add your own observations to this project, at your leisure. I chose "under 4mm" as a cutoff point since I think it will include a lot of interesting species that are still pretty small - but it's an honor-system sort of project, since exact measurements in the field can be difficult.
I'm tagging a few local TX folks here who shoot a lot of tiny critters - feel free to add anyone else who you think may be interested in this project :)

Hope y'all don't mind the tag - thanks for sharing, and I hope to see your tiny beetles!

Where is the project? I just see the comment. Some of my bugs (including beetles) are tagged like this: Sizexx where xx is a number like lens f-stops. They increase by the square root of 2, rounded off to 2 digits without decimal point. So, e.g.
Size10 means >= 1.0mm and < 1.4mm
Size14 means >= 1.4mm and < 2mm
Size20 means >- 2.0mm and < 2.8mm
and so forth. I think Size10 is the smallest category I have, but I need to check on that. At least it's the smallest size for beetles.
Looks like I figured it out. I found the project by clicking on the link below your photo. Then I joined. Then I had to refresh before the project showed up in observations. The smallest beetles I've observed so far are 1.1mm They look like periods crawling around on the glass where the UV light is.
