Injured box turtle was taken home and decorated with pink glitter paint then released. This is animal cruelty and it is illegal to take home a box turtle as they are a protected species. Please don't paint our native wildlife. Please seek professional medical care for injured wildlife. Please don't pick up box turtles and take them home.
