All grown up!
Not long after I took its picture, this Red-tailed Hawk captured a young Raven from a nest. It caused quite a stir. Later, the hawk with the baby raven secured in its beak, was ambushed by a Raven who dove down and ripped it out of the Hawks mouth. During the tug of war for the baby bird, the two adults pinwheeled down from the sky until the hawk let go. Ravens and Crows throughout the area were greatly disturbed for over a half hour.
