Pond
Took my camera to a pond today. I only had about 15 minutes before I had to leave, but got a few good pictures.

Snapped a photo today of two American Goldfinches fighting in midair.
Visited the local lake this evening to get a few pictures of the resident muted swans. Took my 70-300mm lens so I could get a little closer shots.
Have a nice picture of a bee, moth and grasshopper all on the same flower. From the pictures I took on September 2nd. When I was taking the pictures I didn't see the grasshopper. I zoomed in on the picture at home and saw it then. One of those lucky shots.
Been taking a lot of pictures of egrets the past few days. Hard to capture them just as they catch a fish. Takes patience. Got quite a few pictures of them in flight as well. Now I have to sort through them and pick the ones I like.
Captured quite a few pictures of House Sparrows feeding near the beach. Once I have completed the series I will post a few to the Internet.
Went through my July 2010 pictures of a butterfly and found another picture that I had tagged to publish but never did. I added it just now to iNaturalist. I hope I have the right name for the butterfly!
Started working on my Egret photos. Most of the pictures I really don't care for, but I did get 2 good shots of the Egret catching fish.
So I had several pictures identified as the Red-spotted Purple, but a friend who knows butterfly's better than me said it was an Eastern Black Swallowtail. I am back to Red-spotted Purple! They look similar but there is a difference.
Went to a Grape Harvest Festival today. Got a few shots of flowers and the vineyards.
