He is an immature male hummingbird but I have not seen one with such brown sides at my feeders before today. I took 50+ photos of this little guy hoping to get his gorget to flash a color and maybe its a hint of red but it could be the play of the light I posted the best photos but if you need a different view please let me know. I have renamed this field "Gender2" as there is also a field called gender and in some places the system doesn't recognise they are different fields.

But it would be much better to use the standard field Sex to record this piece of information in the observation.

Yes not much call for Hermaphodite.

There are currently about 26 sex/gender fields, some specialized, some could probably be merged.

Good point about multiple individuals, I'll see if there is any objection to adding something like mixed/both to the main "Sex" field, as it would make it more useful.
