Jim Johnson Curator

I live in Vancouver, Washington, USA. Although I am interested in a wide array of groups, my passion is for Odonata (dragonflies and damselflies) which I have been studying since 1995 and photographing since 2006. I am most familiar with the western North American species, but I can be of help with Odonata of the New World in general.

I am very much involved with the Dragonfly Society of the Americas. I have served as Associate Editor and have served on the Executive Council in one position or another, including Regular Member and President.

Many of my photos and information on Odonata (particularly with regard to Oregon) is at http://odonata.bogfoot.net/. I post intermittently on my Northwest Dragonflier blog at http://nwdragonflier.blogspot.com/.
