I am new to photography and have fallen in love with macro and the insect world. I am out every day (okay, almost every day) trying to find the coolest and most interesting insects that this lush botanical garden has to offer. When I'm not shooting macro, I also enjoy birds and nature in the area, as well as hiking and being outdoors.

Costa Rica is about the best place I could think to have wound up for a passion like this. Diversity galore all within a few hours.
