I am uploading this (female?) of what I think is a Eupeodes from several angles. I found her in my old pics this evening and I seem to come to a pretty solid conclusion. I wonder if you will come to the same conclusion @stubirdnb and @johnklyko. I actually bothered to send this to Jeff Skevington for his take on it, as it would certainly be a nice addition to the guide for pics if it was I think it might be. I feel like folks won't sign off on any of these on Bug Guide, though (understandably), not yet. I posted what may be a male of the same species and, although they agree it is a Eupeodes, they won't go to species with it. This female has more features showing, so I will give it another go on BG tomorrow, with "extensive accompanying notes" ;)
UPDATE: I have found another important feature which agrees with my original conclusion. I will post another pic which shows this feature. This is getting exciting!
