Just remembered about this photo. This young bird was found one morning at the beach during an turle antipoaching patrol. Since shearwaters don't nest in beaches, this bird likely fell from a nearby islet. It was too young to fly, so it was hand-fed for a day or so, and then handed over to another environmental NGO that worked with birds. Photo taken during feeding, but location is where it was found.
