Swampscott Bioblitz

The Swampcott Citizen Science Teens are organizing a town-wide bioblitz as part of the 2018 City Nature Challenge: Boston Area! Do you want to help us learn more by collecting data about the species that call town home? Do you want to support the Town of Swampscott's Conservation Commission and Open Space Committee learn more about our local biodiversity to better manage our conservation lands and open spaces? Then join us to learn more!

iNaturalist Training - 4/23
7 pm, Swampscott Public Library
Join in a hands-on training led by the CitSci Teen Leaders on how to use iNaturalist.org to explore and document nature and prepare for a town-wide BioBiitz. Learn how to document our town's nature simply by taking pictures

Swampscott Bioblitz - 4/28
Help document the species that live in Swampscott by joining in a town-wide BioBlitz.

Community Bioblitz Locations: Details to be announced. CitSci Teens will be present at 3 locations to help the community learn more about local species and to collect data together. Bring a digital camera or smart phone (with iNaturalist installed)
