@ahospers, it seems you forget to switch "Formating" to "No formatting" in entry preferences, so there are unnesessary &ltbr/> tags have appeared.

Posted by kildor over 3 years ago

This is partly true

Posted by ahospers over 3 years ago

And now you have to manually add <br/> or <p></p> tags.

Heh,you are familiar with this ? Normaly i have plain tekst

Yes, I am.
You can try https://kildor.name/react/inat-converter/ to write journal posts. Unfortunately it has Russian interface only, but I hope it should mostly be clear to use. I've made it to write statistic posts to Flora of Russia project. The script adds necessery line breaks to the text, and converts some copied statistics to html.

You really made work of it Google Translate does work with it

Posted by ahospers over 3 years ago

I saw it adding < p > and < / p> but what does it do more ? Do you have an exmeple of statistics ?

Look to the journal of https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/flora-of-russia. For example this post. The tables are created with the script.

There are several tabs (Species, experts, observers) in the project. You can copy the text, for example
Ранг Пользователь Наблюдения Вид
1 apseregin 28 578 1 793
2 dni_catipo 16 286 949
3 panasenkonn 15 417 1 084
4 velibortravoved 12 613 691
5 melodi_96 11 083 950

and paste it to the script. It converts the plain text with tabs to the table for better reading,
iNat strips the table tags from comments, so I can't show you the result. The markup will be like this:

<table class='table table-striped table-hover table-condensed'>
<thead><tr><th>Место</th><th>Наблюдатель</th><th>Наблюдений</th><th>Видов</th></tr></thead>
<tr><td>1</td><td>apseregin</td><td>28 578</td><td>1 793</td></tr>
<tr><td>2</td><td>dni_catipo</td><td>16 286</td><td>949</td></tr>
<tr><td>3</td><td>panasenkonn</td><td>15 417</td><td>1 084</td></tr>
<tr><td>4</td><td>velibortravoved</td><td>12 613</td><td>691</td></tr>
<tr><td>5</td><td>melodi_96</td><td>11 083</td><td>950</td></tr>
</table>
