It's time for a Bronx Mini Nature Challenge! Saturday, March 24 at Soundview Park!

Another great job last Saturday, NYC observers! The third mini challenge at Clay Pit Ponds State Park had 23 people making 180 observations of 64 species! @danielatha says this is nearly double what had been observed in the park! Great job!

This Saturday, March 24, our friends at the NYC Ecoflora Project have organized a fourth Mini Nature Challenge at Soundview Park in the Bronx!

The Soundview Park Mini Nature Challenge will be from 10am-12pm on Saturday, March 24 and is hosted by the Bronx River Alliance. Meet at Soundview Park Field House, 1550 Lafayette Ave, Bronx, NY 10473. Everyone is welcome to join! Dress appropriately for the weather and bring your fully-charged smartphone or camera. It will be a great opportunity to learn some iNaturalist tips, interact with local nature lovers, and even get to meet some iNaturalist power users! Click here for more info.

The next Mini Nature Challenge will be April 19 at Brooklyn Bridge Park, Brooklyn (Note this one is a Thursday). Details to follow in a separate post.
