Welcome to the Pleistocene Garden Survey

Based on plant fossils we have discovered in the La Brea Tar Pits and identified to date, we created a garden that represents what the landscape looked like in the Los Angeles Basin 10,000 to 40,000 years ago. We call this garden the Pleistocene Garden, and it is located within a larger area known as Hancock Park.

Please add photos you have taken of wildlife in the Pleistocene Garden so we can document what types of animals use this garden as habitat.
