A Curator’s Guide to iNaturalist.

Join San Diego Natural History Museum Curator of Botany and National Geographic Explorer Dr. Jon Rebman for a night of perfecting your iNaturalist plant observations. Jon will be sharing tips and tricks for how to make high quality plant observations valuable to science! This training is geared towards participants that have past experience with iNaturalist, are interested in learning more about the plants and botanical diversity in San Diego County, as well as identification resources, such as sdplantatlas.org.

Registrants will receive free digital resources to help hone plant observation and identification skills. If you need help with the basics of using the iNaturalist app or website, please review the tutorials provided here prior to attending this program.

This online program is free, but advanced registration is required. Please use the below links to register. Note: You do not need a Zoom account to attend the talk.
