The Quest for 7,000
Hey Brosteners!
The iNatty continues to chug along as more brosteners join in the fun and document their wild finds. As I write we currently sit at 6,940 species, so close to 7,000! Since my last entry I was able to find some cool herps in my area, my favorite being a Chamberlain's Dwarf Salamander (pretty rare in my area!!). There have been all sorts of cool entries thus far, many of which I am extremely jealous of (looking at you @safron , I saw your red-cheeked salamander entry and am super jealous, I've spent plenty of time doing field work in the Smoky mountains and am yet to see one). Keep logging your cool finds and be on the lookout for wild times coverage of the project in the near future. If you log an especially cool animal who knows what could happen...
All the best,
Drew
