In german floristic literature this fern is said to prefer +- acidic substrate, respectively would not grow on limestone or other +- alkaline stone.
This find grows on limestone talus (formation Schöckelkalk) at base of Peggauer Wand.
So far this occurence / location was unknown before, guess i should report it to other botanists.
Saw this beautiful small red bird at Erindale Park. Had the opportunity to take a pretty close up picture as he stood still for about 5 minutes or so.
While on our walk through Kleinburg trails in Ontario, I found, what I believe was a frog, although, not sure of the particular family it would be associated with exactly. I love my zoom lens!
White, furry bug, with antenna's and a yellow lower end body. Never seen anything like it before. And found on my property.
