Hello,

As a hobbyist, I am happy to share my experiences and photographs of organisms to better understand and appreciate our environment. I have volunteered for a great amount of time, communicating ideas about science (biology and paleontology in particular) to the public. I have curated specimens, took inventory of fossil plants, and have fed live specimens in a zoological environment.

I suppose that relevant coursework and experiences include Ecology, Genetics, Technology and Society, Microbiology, Chemistry, Osteology, and Anatomy. I have worked professionally with photography in a limited capacity and enjoy collecting non-fiction books and maps.

My observations, identifications, and comments are my own opinions and do not represent those of any associated past, present, and future organizations, employers, institutions, et cetera. Identifications by photographs alone are inherently inaccurate as proper identification requires actual specimens. I think our arguments, observations, and identifications on this website are more relevant than outside credentials and education.
