I am a graduate student at IUPUI studying geography, specifically GIS mapping. I have 4+ years of herp surveys throughout the Midwest United States. I primarily post my observations of amphibians and reptiles to hermapper.org. I wanted a place to log all of the other interesting species that I find. So, here I am. I am looking forward to helping ID posts of herps on this site to share my knowledge.

Salamanders are my favorite herp. Insects interest me but are intimidating to ID. If I could never study another herp in my life again for some reason, I would study bats.
