Over 50,000 observations!
Just a short note to mark the 50,000th observation! That's a 5.5% increase since march 22nd!
And there are also 3% more species in the project. In fact, the number of research grade observations has risen once again and 81.4% of the records have date, location and identification confirmed.
The 50,000th record is Polycera atra from Monterey, California, by @anudibranchmom (Robin Agarwal):
Besides being one of the project's managers, Robin is also the #2 contributor in terms of number of records, #12 contributor in terms of number of species and #2 in number of identifications! Polycera atra is the 99th most recorded species in the project.
Let's keep on contributing and... stay safe!
