Join Us for a Virtual ID Party!

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we will not be holding any in-person events for the City Nature Challenge. Instead, we're hosting a Virtual ID Party on Thursday, April 30, from 7:00-9:00 p.m.

Even with the possibility of fewer observations this year, we'll need all the help we can get making identifications. We encourage everyone to give identifying a try. If you're new to identifying, this event is for you! Museum staff will provide tips for using iNaturalist's Identify Tool and for identifying common animals found throughout Los Angeles County.

For those with more identification experience, this will be a time to come together in an effort to make as many identifications as possible and further scientist's understanding of urban nature.

We hope you'll join us!

Is there supposed to be a registration link? I think it's currently missing from the post @natureinla

I’ll do my best to join in, if the kids let me! A great idea!

We love the enthusiasm from this group! As some of you noticed, we made a mistake in our html coding and the registration link didn't appear. That's been fixed now. We look forward to "seeing" all of you on April 30! @pliffgrieff @neontetraploid @alan_rockefeller @andreacala @gcsnelling @scubabruin @diego4nature @lisa_bennett
